Dallas Mavericks to Host Official Draft Party at American Airlines Center

For just the second time in franchise history, the Dallas Mavericks have secured the No. 1 overall pick in the NBA Draft—and they’re celebrating big. Fans are invited to the official Mavs Draft Party, presented by RYSE, at the American Airlines Center on Wednesday, June 25.

The night will feature a live broadcast of The MavsTV Draft Show, hosted by play-by-play announcer Mark Followill, analyst Jeff “Skin” Wade, and ESPN’s Ted Emrich. Special appearances throughout the night include Mavs legends Rolando Blackman, Nick Van Exel, Josh Howard, and Mark Aguirre, the team’s very first No. 1 pick from 1981. Also joining the event is Paige Bueckers, the 2025 No. 1 pick for the Dallas Wings, along with other surprise guests.

Mav’s Deron Williams Makes a Burger

A custom made burger packed with all sorts of flavor elements along with a pile of freshly fried onion rings for twelve bucks, with a side of the new Mav’s Bud Light for a four-dollar markup can make for a pretty good game.

Deron Williams and American Airlines Center Executive Chef Mark Mabry have created the Big D Will Burger that will be sold in concessions stands (106, 114 and 118) throughout the month of November. This burger makes its debut Friday, November 4th for the Mavericks vs. Trail Blazers game.   Continue reading
