4/20 at Cocodrie’s Means Four Pounds of Crawfish for Twenty Bucks

Crawfish season is here, and Cocodrie’s Bayou Kitchen in North Richland Hills is doing something about it. Starting today, April 20, the restaurant is running a 4/20 crawfish special — four pounds for $20 — plus buckets of beer for $17. That’s a hard combination to pass up on a Sunday.

Riscky’s BBQ Celebrating 95 Years on Oct. 20, 2022 / 95-cent Food Specials, More

Riscky’s Barbeque, the second-oldest restaurant in all of Fort Worth and a Texas barbeque legend since 1927, is celebrating its milestone 95th anniversary on October 20, 2022. In addition to offering 95-cent specials at all locations and $95 gift card giveaways all week long on social media, Riscky’s is hosting a free and open-to-the-public celebratory event from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, at its Fort Worth Stockyards location at 140 E. Exchange Ave.

Eat Me: Cuban Sandwich at Cuco’s

Tucked away in a nondescript residential area in North Richland Hills sits a little pink building that serves up some wonderful Cuban and Caribbean food. Cuco’s is a family owned sandwich shop that for many years has been a hidden gem in an area not known for restaurants. I was turned on to this place by a friend who is Puerto Rican (thanks Mireida!) She told me these were the best Cubano’s around and she wasn’t wrong. Continue reading
