Brooklyn Brewery’s Garrett Oliver Swaggers Into Dallas

Garrett Oliver is the author of the much acclaimed The Brewmaster’s Table and The Oxford Companion to Beer. He is also the brewmaster at Brooklyn Brewery, makers of such fine brews as the Brooklyn Weisse, Greenmarket Wheat, Cuvee La Boite and the Sorachi Ace, all of which we sampled at the recent Pairdiné beer dinner hosted by Lark on the Park and emceed by the affluent orator and pr4viously mentioned brew-god Garrett Oliver.

Throughout the dinner Oliver spiced the room with tales of beer history and mirth about the humble beginnings of Brooklyn’ finest brew.  Continue reading

Lark on the Park Hosting Brooklyn Beer

Lark on the Park has quickly become one of our restaurant treasures. The food is always spot on, the cocktails are fantastic, and best of all it is one of the easiest restaurants to get in and out of despite the nearby construction. Always park in the garage just to the right of the front door for speedy valet in and out.

All that aside, Lark on the Park will host world-renowned Brooklyn Brewery brewmaster Garrett Oliver for a specially curated beer experience Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 6:30 p.m. at its location at 2015 Woodall Rodgers Freeway across from Klyde Warren Park. A special dinner will follow where you will enjoy six beers and menu selections prepared by the Lark chefs.    Continue reading
