Few films capture the restless spirit of a generation quite like Easy Rider (1969). Released in 1969, this countercultural classic follows two bikers, Wyatt—better known as “Captain America”—played by Peter Fonda, and Billy, portrayed by Dennis Hopper, as they journey across the American South and Southwest on a quest for freedom and meaning.
