FT33 is busily planning the first installment of their annual guest chef series. Make your reservations today for the February 17, 2014 event where chef-owner Matt McCallister welcomes Chef Richard Kuo from Pearl & Ash in NYC. Kuo and McCallister will prepare a collaborative 8 course dinner consisting of seasonal cuisine, and will have some stellar pairings selected specifically for each course.
Kuo was born in Taiwan but raised in Australia, and came to the U.S. to work as a cook when he was 25. At Pearl & Ash, where he’s running his own place for the first time, Kuo proves himself to be a thoughtful chef with a fluency in flavors, plating much like McCallister with similar fervor.
