Henderson Avenue’s Comeback Restaurant, Romy, is Still on Track for December

Henderson Avenue’s long-anticipated overhaul is close enough to done now that its restaurant lineup is starting to feel real. PopUp Bagels opened its second Dallas location on the street this summer. Salt & Straw made its Texas debut nearby. And the anchor tenant everyone’s been waiting on, a Tristan Simon restaurant called Romy, is still on track to open at 2110 N. Henderson Ave. this December, right as the rest of the ten-building Henderson East project wraps construction.

Romy Set to Lead a New Era on Henderson Avenue

The stretch of Henderson Avenue between Glencoe Street and McMillan Avenue is in the middle of a major transformation, one that aims to turn a once-quiet corridor into one of Dallas’ most walkable and inviting districts. Over the next couple of years, this quarter-mile strip will become a modern mixed-use neighborhood with new sidewalks, landscaping, retail, chef-driven restaurants, and an office building designed with hotel-style amenities.
