Riscky’s Barbeque, the second-oldest restaurant in all of Fort Worth and a Texas barbeque legend since 1927, is celebrating its milestone 95th anniversary on October 20, 2022. In addition to offering 95-cent specials at all locations and $95 gift card giveaways all week long on social media, Riscky’s is hosting a free and open-to-the-public celebratory event from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, at its Fort Worth Stockyards location at 140 E. Exchange Ave.

Flying Saucer Draught Emporium’s 2013 BeerFeast

Tickets are on sale now for Flying Saucer Draught Emporium’s 2013 BeerFeast taking place Saturday, Oct. 12 from 1 to 7 p.m. at its location in Sundance Square in Fort Worth.

BeerFeast will feature 40 breweries and 65 craft beers carefully selected by Flying Saucer’s own resident beer gurus. In addition, rare and limited-release beers will be tapped one at a time throughout the fest. New this year is the option to use taster cards to sample any of the 80 brews on the tap wall inside the Saucer. Local bands The Hanna Barbarians, Oh Whitney and Oil Boom will provide entertainment.     Continue reading

Queen City Music Hall Hosts Kinky

Sundance Square’s newest live music venue, Queen City Music Hall, welcomes singer, politician and humorist Kinky Friedman on Saturday, July 27.
