Fletcher’s Original Corny Dogs, the famous meal on a stick, was invented and debuted at the 1942 State Fair of Texas. On February 7, you can serve the iconic Texas food at your football-watching party for this year’s Big Game! Fletcher’s is offering two centrally located options for you to choose from for pick-up. Okay, so the Cowboys didn’t quite make it, but that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate Super Bowl Sunday, February 5th. And the Ivy Tavern is doing just that, with a day of festivities capped off by a patio pig roast in addition to the regular menu.
The party begins at 4:00 p.m., so swing by early to get warmed up before the game. Revolver Brewing is hosting a tap takeover and will be handing out free samples of their delicious beers, including Blood and Honey, Revolver Bock and Death Ray. Stonedeck Pizza already does some very non-traditional pizzas. We have been fond of the Chicken Tikka Masala version. Read about others here in a past report. But not to be outdone by themselves, the good folks at Stonedeck have created a monster of a pizza that even Dr. Frankenstein might question.
