The Hill Country distillery walked away with Platinum for its flagship Waterloo No. 9 Gin, Double Gold for the Prickly Pear & Rose Gin, and Gold for the Barrel Aged Gin, a clean sweep across the brand’s three core expressions.

Valentine’s Day Cocktail: Waterloo Gin’s Pink Negroni Moment

This Valentine’s Day, Waterloo Gin adds a rosy twist to a classic with the Pink Negroni, a cocktail designed for sharing—and making—together.

This isn’t your standard Negroni. It’s pink, floral, and noticeably more approachable. The base is Waterloo Gin’s Prickly Pear & Rose, which gives the drink a fresh, lightly floral lift right from the start. Pink vermouth and Lillet Rosé add softness and balance, while a few dashes of grapefruit bitters bring just enough bite. Stirred over ice and finished with a grapefruit peel, the result is lighter, brighter, and a little more playful than the original.
