We recently told you our favorite good luck dishes from across the globe, and had a difficult time locating a proper Greek Vasilopita. After many more stones turned we finally found one. Actually, they are making this just for you, so take advantage!

Preston Hollow Ziziki’s is offering Vasilopita on its New Year’s Eve menu. This warm, rich, and buttery cake is the perfect ending to a great meal, and is a fun way to ring in the New Year. The Greek tradition dictates that you serve the cake to the youngest first, then the next to youngest, and so on, working up in age, and the person who finds a hidden coin or trinkets will have good luck for the year.
