For those thinking that they might attend the grand opening of Katy Trail Ice House, you may wish to adjust your calendar. They have had some technical difficulties with their tapping system and have postponed the party for a few weeks. They are open for business, but just serving bottles. You may remember that Crave discussed that they will feature more Texas beers on tap than anyone in the state, making the location very desirable.
Here is their Facebook announcement:
Thanks to everyone that enjoyed the weekend with us. We thank all of you for your patience while we work out the kinks. Due to mechanical failures, we are still working on our draft system. We will POSTPONE our Grand Opening until we have the draft system and menu complete. Please come by for the NCAA championship game tonight. We have new plasma’s outside. Thanks again and we hope to see you tonight
