Wednesday May 11th opens the beginning festivities at Central Market’s Espana, a two week celebration that dives head first into Spain’s spirit, language, music, art, architecture and of course food. In the coming weeks you will be able to experience tapas and paella and so much more from some of the grand chefs of the Spanish cuisine movement that has taken flight as some of the greatest cuisine in the world and Michelin stars are passed out like Pez dispensers.
Central Market stores across Texas will be stocked with all-things-Spanish for the two-week celebration around authentic Spanish cuisine. Customers can learn to dance the Flamenco, browse products from the San Miguel market, sip and sample robust Albariños and other varietals with world-famous vintners, and savor authentic Spanish cuisine including Jamon Iberico, Spanish-style Chorizo Picante, Ajo Blanco Gazpacho, and Pierna de Cordero (leg of lamb).
Through out the festival you will be able to meet the top chefs and dine with them at the various markets across the Dallas Fort Worth area.
Crave will be attending many of the events and we have already spoken to some of the chefs to bring you interesting reports on what inspires this cuisine and how the chefs think.
Please check out this flyer for a complete schedule of events.
