Not one but two wine dinners you might like to check out this week at The Grape, located on Greenville Avenue in Dallas. The first hosts a special guest from Bouchaine Vineyards in Napa Valley, Mike Richmond on Tuesday, March 27.
A Dallas native, Mike Richmond has over 30 years’ experience in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir production in the Carneros including his founding Acacia Winery. Richmond and the Bouchaine winemaking team have updated both farming and winemaking to bring the wines to a new standard of excellence at the historic winery.
Mike will visit each table to discuss the award-winning wines served complemented by a 3-course dinner prepared by chef Brian Luscher. Reservations beginning at 5:30 throughout the evening are recommended.
Then on Wednesday the 28th The Grape host their monthly chef’s Come-As-You-Are wine dinner featuring a 3-course bistro-style menu to complement the hand-selected Napa Valley wines of the evening. Special guest host for this event is Jennifer Mancha of Republic Beverage.
The Grape’s monthly wine dinner provides a fun, casual setting, that allows the guest to “come-as-they-are” and dine at their own pace, allowing for a more festive one-on-one format with the wine experts. Themes include a wine expert/host for the evening who speaks to each individual table about the wines selected.
