Indian-Italian Ghost Kitchen Goes Brick and Mortar

Chef Nidhi Mittal and her husband, Lokesh, are thrilled to announce the grand opening of Far East Pizza Co.’s new full-service restaurant in Allen, Texas, after successfully transitioning from a deli shop to a ghost kitchen concept over the past four years.

Far East Pizza Co. is now open at 2023 W. McDermott Dr. Suite 220, Allen, TX 75013. The restaurant welcomes guests every day from 11 AM to 9 PM, except Tuesdays. Catering, delivery, and take-out services are available through their website at www.fareastpizza.com and on popular delivery platforms like DoorDash and UberEats. The new location also features a private room that accommodates up to 26 people, available for rental with 24 hours’ notice.

Chef Nidhi Mittal, who emigrated to the United States seeking a better life for her family, initially operated a small deli in a commercial building. When the pandemic struck, she pivoted to a ghost kitchen model. With the guidance of Chef Troy Gardner from TLC Vegan Cafe, Chef Nidhi crafted a unique menu that fuses her cherished Indian recipes with American-Italian dishes.

The spacious new Allen location allows for an expanded menu, including specialties like Chef Nidhi’s Butter Chicken Curry, a creamy tomato and yogurt curry with seasoned roasted chicken; and Tikka Time Pizza, featuring Indian-style Alfredo sauce, roasted chicken, mozzarella, red onion, and Thai basil. The menu also includes two Indian wines, and all meats served at Far East Pizza Co. are halal, with vegetarian and vegan options available.

Diners can expect bold flavors from Chandigarh, with spices like cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon blending seamlessly with roasted tomatoes and basil throughout the menu.

About Far East Pizza Co.

Far East Pizza Co. is now open in Allen, Texas.

It is a magical blend of fine Indian cuisine & well-crafted American Italian delights, created by Owner and Chef Nidhi Mittal with a partnership with Chef Troy Gardner. Mittal was born and raised in India and moved to the Richardson area 7 years ago with her husband Lokseh and two kids for “a better life” in America. They dreamed of starting their own business and started with a small deli inside an office building that business came from the tenants.

With no traffic to their business because of the pandemic, they turned to their fan and friend Chef Troy Gardner who would order Chef Nidhi’s famous butter chicken masala at their deli, and after several meetings and tastings, they formed Far East Pizza Co.

This North Texas’ first Asian inspired pizzeria serves pizzas like Halal Beef Pepperoni pizza, a chicken tikka masala pizza, butter paneer pizza with ancient Indian spices; pastas with ancient Indian spices and sandwiches made with fluffy naan and house made plantain chips.

Experience the bold Chandigarh flavors of cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon found in Nidhi Indian home cooking combined with the roasted tomatoes and basil throughout the menu.
