2022 Chefs for Farmers Celebrates another Successful Festival Benefiting the Seed Project Foundation’s McKinney Roots

Dallas’ favorite foodie event, Chefs for Farmers’ Main Event, returned on November 6 at Old City Park with the largest number of attendees in the festival’s history. This year’s event was extra special, as more than 3,000 food fanatics came together to celebrate the food and wine festival’s 11th year, with this year’s event benefiting the Seed Project Foundation’s McKinney Roots. The historic park made the perfect backdrop for the day’s activities, highlighting an acclaimed lineup of artisans, 12 local farmers, and 68 talented local and out-of-town chefs. The days leading up to Main Event held several fun-filled Chefs for Farmers events including the intimate From Dirt to Dish dinners, the North MEATS South feast, DEVOUR: The Ultimate Bite Night at The Exchange, and Farm Tour hosted by the Seed Project Foundation. The Main Event was the grand finale of an engaging Chefs for Farmers weekend, and to top it off, the festival raised nearly $40,000 for the Seed Project Foundation’s McKinney Roots.

Chefs For Farmers Food & Wine Festival Announces 2022 Chef Lineup and Farm Partners

North Texas food and wine festival, Chefs for Farmers, returns this fall for its 11th year with a robust lineup of participating chefs and restaurants. The packed schedule of events begins on November 3 and leads up to The Main Event on Sunday, November 6, 2022. This year, Chefs For Farmers is partnering with The Seed Project Foundation’s McKinney Roots a food donation garden that grows and supplies fresh produce to local nonprofits, churches, and schools, alleviating hunger with healthful, nutrient-dense food.

Chefs For Farmers Food & Wine Festival Returns on November 2-6

Chefs For Farmers originally launched as a farm-to-table dinner concept in 2010, and as it grew, the annual festival quickly became Dallas’ premiere multi-day food and wine event known for bringing chefs, restaurants, and local farmers together. With an impressive lineup for this year’s festival, Chefs For Farmers will kick off this fall with a bang beginning Wednesday, November 2 through Sunday, November 6, benefitting McKinney Roots, the Seed Project Foundation’s donation farm aimed at eliminating hunger in Collin County with fresh, organic produce.

Tickets for 36th Annual GrapeFest Now Available

Tickets for the 36th Annual GrapeFest  A Texas Wine Experience, presented by Bank of the West, are now on sale. GrapeFest is the largest wine festival of the Southwest and boasts the largest consumer-judged wine competition in the nation. This year’s festival will be held September 15, 16, 17 and 18, 2022, in historic Grapevine, featuring the very best of Texas-grown wines as well as exquisite selections from guest wineries in the California Sonoma Valley and the Italian Sicily region.

Visitors won’t want to miss signature events People’s Choice Wine Tasting Classic, the Liberty Park Plaza Wine Experience and Champagne Terrace, as well as area wine pavilions and award-winning winery tasting rooms on Grapevine’s Urban Wine Trail. Taste of Dallas is celebrating its 36th year along with the vibrant DFW culinary scene with tens of thousands of loyal attendees and dozens of interactive and engaging activities. This year, they’re debuting a host of new food attractions including Smoke & Sauce, Veggie Paradise, Global Flavors, It’s So Fair, Baconland and more.
