James Beard Foundation released their tops in the nation for semi-finalist in best restaurant, chef and more. The list, as usual, is a bit light on Texas but we did note some excellent restaurants and chefs mentioned in a few categories.

After much deliberation in the first round of judging, the scores have been tallied and the results are in; 33 semi-finalists have been named to move forward.
