Richard Ellman, founder of Apheleia Restaurant Group, Speaks to Oak’s continued evolution and dynamic adaptation to the ever-changing Dallas food scene. “We are honored to earn a Wine Spectator award this year. Receiving this award paired with the direction Oak is headed will continue to amaze people’s palates in the food and beverage scene,” says Richard. Oak has a team consisting of three sommeliers and boasts one of the best wine lists in the city. Their chef-inspired farm-to-table cuisine and robust steak and seafood program thoughtfully exists alongside a wine list that is approachable and worldly.
Wine Spectator began its program to recognize the world’s best wine lists in 1981. Oak has won the Award of Excellence.
