The range alone — Australian post-punk legends, an 80s synth-pop double bill that belongs at an arena, a country songwriter who has been quietly building one of the best catalogs in Texas, and a hip-hop producer who has spent the better part of thirty years rewriting what electronic music can do — is the kind of lineup that drops on a Tuesday and you realize you’re already behind on ticket buying.

What could be more delicious than Tacos and Tunes? How about both. Tacos and Tunes (T+T) is hosting its its September show at Local Moto + Provisions and will be feature local artists A.J. Legrand, Love & War and Cameron Matthew Ray. Tacos will be provided by El Taco Express.
T+T is a “house show” style concert series. The goal is to remove the barriers between artists and their audience. They provide a space where music lovers can genuinely connect with artists as well as local businesses and creatives who care about the city… all while stuffing their faces with delicious tacos from local taquerias.

Henderson Avenue Country Club seems to have it all. Craft cocktails, creative, savory provisions, live music, and sports are all part of the plan. Reminiscent of Nashville’s Broadway Avenue Honky Tonk’s, the Country Club is upscale, with a bit of sawdust on the floor. The patio, which opens to the venue, giving it a much larger feel, is ideal for watching the comings and goings of Henderson Avenue’s diverse crowds. The venue is located a short walking distance from its popular sister bar, Henderson Tap House, and neighbors Capitol Pub and J. Black’s.
