What could be more delicious than Tacos and Tunes? How about both. Tacos and Tunes (T+T) is hosting its its September show at Local Moto + Provisions and will be feature local artists A.J. Legrand, Love & War and Cameron Matthew Ray. Tacos will be provided by El Taco Express.

T+T is a “house show” style concert series. The goal is to remove the barriers between artists and their audience. They provide a space where music lovers can genuinely connect with artists as well as local businesses and creatives who care about the city… all while stuffing their faces with delicious tacos from local taquerias.

Tickets are $15 and the show starts at 7:30 September 28th.

The events are stripped down and the concept is simple: each ticket gets you entry and two tacos. The hope is to create a unique and intimate experience that people will talk about, all while supporting local artists, venues, and restaurants.

Local + Moto is this unusual motorcycle shop in Oak Cliff that is generally geared to women (their words, not ours) that also has a lovely cafe serving coffees, organic juices and toasts. The toast line up is strong and features such lovelies as avocado with olive oil and red chiles, brioche with ricotta, a Texas beef bacon butty and more. They also serve beer and wine.

Not in the mood for an avocado toast then you might want to peruse their selection of motos for sale, or perhaps have yours restored.

This special event September 28th will include:

Cameron Matthew Ray
Dallas Native, nationally touring artist Cameron Matthew Ray is a lyrical martyr. Cameron’s lyrics boast a melancholy, brutally and simple truth that pierces your musical skin. Ray is a seasoned vet when it comes to the singer/songwriter and folk genres opening up for veterans like, Griffin House, Andrew Belle, Gungor, Sean McConnell, and Foreigner. Rays newest project “Love & Space”, Produced by Taylor Tatsch (Maren Morris, Garret Owen) will leave you hurting and wanting more music at the same time.

A.J. Legrand
A.J. LeGrand describes his music as “stories accompanied by cowboy melodies.” Others have said that “his songs send [them] on an unpredictable emotional journey; exploring a myriad of genres from soul, to folk, to blues, to country rock–demonstrating his incredible gift for storytelling while telling them with the perfect amount of energy and passion.”

Love & War
Love & War was born out of a heart for adventure and authenticity. These songs were crafted and created with intentionality to inspire more spontaneity, more appreciation for life, and more hope through life’s hard times. The songs from Love & War were inspired out of life experiences from the band’s own trials and successes which is portrayed in the band’s album being split into halves. Life is a balance. Love & War is balance of music that is breathed from a genuine desire to connect others to the moments in life that make us stop and enjoy, and pause to wonder.
