Thread Spinner, is Lakewood Brewing’s new Legendary Series release, and the first in a mini series of three wood-aged beers based on the Greek myth of the Three Fates, is out now.
This 13.5% American barleywine was aged in Witherspoon Distillery bourbon barrels for months, lending notes of toffee, vanilla, and oak to the malty, robust beer. Kicking off on Monday, August 11th, R Bar & Grill will implement $1 Craft Beer Nights every Monday evening through the end of August. $1 craft beers will be available each Monday from 4 p.m. to close. The local beer world is expanding at an incredible rate. We just received word that a new growler station is to open in Dallas at 6448 E Mockingbird. This is the former Kindred Spirits location near Abrams Road. The signage touts 36 Texas taps, something that is always a welcome addition to the neighborhood. The growler station will have less than 25 seats with a focus on fill and go business says the owner, Dale Czech. Look for more information to filter soon. The Best Little Brewfest in Texas is a Craft Beer Festival held at the infield garage of Texas Motor Speedway in Ft Worth, the ideal venue for anyone who loves craft beer.
