Sandaga 813 Blows Its Horn

Tuesday nights are reserved for taking in live Jam sessions at Sandaga 813 which is located on Exposition near Fair Park.  Nothing more; nothing less.   Do not come expecting dinner or hand-crafted cocktails (note that the pours are strong), but do partake in some of the most remarkable Jazz creative improvisation.  A $5 cover not only gets your soul cranked with unforgettable exquisite duets and solos performed by innovators of immense music powers.  In jazz creative input is egalitarian. Coming To Exposition Park: Craft and Growler

A new beer garden will open “around October” in the Exposition Park area just off Fair Park at 3601 Parry Street.  Craft and Growler will have Dallas’ largest selection of draft beers to go in growlers of all shapes and sizes. For those unfamiliar with the concept of beer growlers, they are containers of beer siphoned off taps to take home. This will enable you to take home beer from places like Deep Ellum Brewing Company who do not currently bottle on a regular basis.            Continue reading →
