The Exchange at AT&T Discovery District Opens to the Public Friday, June 25

The Exchange at the AT&T Discovery District will officially open to the public on Friday, June 25. The launch marks the first food hall in downtown Dallas and the long-awaited full opening of the AT&T Discovery District. AT&T launched the project in 2018 to create a world-class workplace and help revitalize downtown Dallas.

“The vibrancy we’re seeing in downtown Dallas is exciting and we’re thrilled to open this final piece of our vision for the AT&T headquarters,” said Melissa Phillips, Director, AT&T Discovery District. “The AT&T Discovery District was built to create connections for our employees and the community. We hope the diversity of food and beverage experiences found at the food hall will be as well received by visitors as they have been across the District over the past several months.”

The heart of the home, the place where everyone gathers – we all know it as the kitchen.  On November 1, that evolves into Kitchen, a new mini food hall and takeout market concept from Dallas restaurateur Scott Jones. While concepts may rotate from time to time, Kitchen launches with Jack’s Modern Southern Kitchen and Dallas Meatball Kitchen as its first two featured menus. Kitchen is located at 6041 Oram in East Dallas and offers dining, takeout and delivery options for those who crave the taste of homemade.

“We want people to come in and congregate, and enjoy a variety of things,” said Jones, who is well known for creating acclaimed concepts such as Screen Door, Gourmet a Go-Go and the reboot of the beloved Dallas Italian restaurant, Café Italia. “This has all the warm feelings of being in your mom’s kitchen, but no one is offended if you just eat and run.” Continue reading
