Two Buck Pizza Slices For Thanksgiving

DSC08505

Honestly? Thanksgiving is mostly about watching football, stuffing yourself with turkey, having a few drinks, and arguing with your uncle. But often lost in those national pastimes is the actual “giving thanks” part. So GAPCo is getting ahead of the curve, and giving thanks to all of its friends and supporters this Friday.

On November 17, GAPCo is offering $2 two-topping slices at its second (and newest)  location at 1145 Peavy Rd from open until close. That means you’ve got a full day and much of the night to enjoy discounted pizza. Because if there’s anything better than pizza, it’s cheaper-than-usual pizza—ideally with a beer, too, so be sure to order one of those to wash it all down.

GAPCo has been embraced by the East Dallas community, and feels so fortunate to have the support of its regulars and new customers alike. This is just their small way of giving back the best way they know how—with pizza. Everyone’s invited, so mark your calendar, then follow that fresh-baked scent to $2 pizza glory

Greenville Avenue Pizza Company Recognized by Fortune Magazine, Opening Second Location

DSC08525

Since opening in 2007, Greenville Avenue Pizza Company has worked hard to establish itself in Dallas— persevering through a recession, riding out neighborhood development and even changing its business model to embrace delivery. The little pizza shop’s drive has paid off, as Fortune magazine has just named GAPCo one of this year’s 100 fastest-growing inner city companies, as ranked by the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City.

With an impressive five-year growth rate of 324%, GAPCo earned the #34 spot in the ranking. And they’re not done yet, as the company is opening a second location soon and hopes to open several more in the next few years.   Continue reading

pea

We like your chances in 2016, but it can’t hurt to stack the deck in your favor. That’s why countless people eat luck-producing black eyed peas on New Year’s Day. But Greenville Avenue Pizza Company wanted to make this tradition a little better and a lot tastier with their “Hoppin’ Jean” pizza.

It all starts with a perfect crust topped with Alfredo or pizza sauce, per the customer’s preference. Then they  pile on the mozzarella cheese and a healthy dose of Hoppin’ John, which consists of black eyed peas, sausage, bacon, rice and spices. A large pie costs $23 while a small goes for $17.   Continue reading

Thanksgiving Calzone at Greenville Avenue Pizza Company

calzone

A lineup of sweet, savory and all around delicious items that made weekend midmornings better for everyone. And now, after some tinkering in the kitchen, they’re ready to unleash their latest creation: the Thanksgiving Calzone.

This tasty idea includes mashed potatoes, homemade stuffing and turkey, plus cranberry sauce and gravy on the side. Yet somehow, it gets ever better, because they have also introduced a new delicious Apple Cider Mimosa and will be offering both items daily. It’s the best calzone-and-mimosa in town.  Continue reading
