Miriam Cocina Latina, the popular eatery across from Klyde Warren Park in the Dallas Arts District celebrates the arrival of summer with a “Bienvenidos al Verano” party on Tuesday, June 21st from 5-9pm. 

Enjoy live music from popular latino quartet Café con Leche, popular DJs Ricki Rincon and Latin Prince as well as brisket and chicken taco specials ($5) and a sultry libation crafted for the occasion. La Rosa Ahumado aka The Smokey Rose, is El Jimador tequila, Cointreau and candied rose petals smoked table side.

Klyde Warren Park Announces Expansion

The Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation (WRPF) and VisitDallas today announced an innovative partnership that will complete the original vision of Klyde Warren Park.

The estimated $76 million project adds 1.2 acres over Woodall Rodgers Freeway, just west of St. Paul Street. This land will be used for a 20,000-square-foot pavilion that will house the state-of-the-art VisitDallas Experience Center, a Visitor Center unlike any other in the U.S., fusing “best in class” customer service with interactive technology that tells the Dallas story.  The expansion will include additional green spaces and public gathering spots, assist with the Park’s long-term financial sustainability, and allow the privately-operated park to expand the more than 1,300 free programs and events it already provides annually. Perry’s Steakhouse Builds New Location Off Klyde Warren Park

Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille announced that it will be relocating its Uptown location in late 2019. The established steakhouse is moving down the street into the Park District development at 2100 Olive St. Perry’s will occupy the two-story space below the Residences at Park District at the corner of Woodall Rodgers Freeway and Olive Street, with expansive views of Klyde Warren Park and Downtown Dallas.
