Celebrate National Margarita Day With A Few Friends

It is National Margarita Day. These foodie holidays can be a bit wearisome, but this is one day I can circle my wagon around. It also happens to fall on Chili Day, which we have provided handily for you to enjoy. But let’s take a look at some specials going on today and a look at our favorites. Because it is a day to celebrate.

We spoke with Leann Berry last night, she is part of the Dream Team who re-opened Cedars Social recently. Berry is the ace bartendress behind the new concept and has been named repeatedly one of the best bartenders in Texas, and even more specifically one who makes the best margarita. Cedars Social To Re-Open With Modern Mexican Menu

Sixteen years ago a young chef named Anastacia Quinones approached restaurateur Monica Greene looking to work at the famed Ciudad in Dallas, which at the time was Greene’s premier modern Mexican restaurant located in Dallas. It wasn’t necessarily a good fit then, but fast forward to this week and we find the couple have finally teamed up for something new in the Cedars Social space. The name will remain Cedar Social, but the cuisine will be all about modern Mexican.

Quinones and Berry Takeover Cafe Herrera For One Night

Anastacia Quinones and Leann Berry will together take over Cafe Herrera for one evening for a very special Pop-Up Dinner. This special evening will begin with a cocktail hour which will include special cocktails made with Clase Azul Tequila.
