Anastacia Quinones and Leann Berry will together take over Cafe Herrera for one evening for a very special Pop-Up Dinner. This special evening will begin with a cocktail hour which will include special cocktails made with Clase Azul Tequila.
The evening (July 12th) will also bring five paired courses for $75 per person, or choose the limited seated chef’s table for $100. Purchase one of the limited seats at the Eventbrite web page.
Chef Quinones has an austere career which began after her stint at the Culinary Institute of America Hyde Park, the most prestigious culinary school in the United States. She found herself in the kitchen at the famous Jardinière in San Francisco under the tutelage of chef Traci Des Jardins. She was back in Dallas as sous chef at Victor Tango, then executive chef at Alma where she was able to exercise her freedom with Latin cuisine. This soon led her to Komali, Kitchen LTO and her current role as executive chef at Oddfellows with plenty of consulting gigs along the way including Mexican Sugar in Plano. Her attention to detail and love for Mexican cuisine has helped her with the title of best in class of her cuisine.
Leann Berry has been bartender at some of the best Mexican eateries in Dallas including a long tenure working with Monica Greene and Joanne Bondy at the beloved Ciudad before making her mark behind the stick at Komali. Berry has been named the best bartender in the State of Texas on numerous occasions from Texas Monthly and other publications (including craveDFW), and makes the best margarita in the country. In an interview on craveRADIO we discovered Berry has a passion for stand-up comedy and traveled with a troupe across the country.
Both Quinones and Berry will lead the pop-up with the experienced flair which has been highly anticipated. Make your reservations today.
