Chef Chin’s Hibachi & Ramen will open its first location on February 18th in Legacy Hall, located at 7800 Windrose Ave. in Plano. The hibachi and ramen kitchen will offer a unique twist on both Japanese traditions, blending the best of both art forms to create a craveable dining destination in a fast-casual setting.
This will be the second concept for Chef Chin Liang who opened Hōru Sushi Kitchen at Legacy Hall in September 2019 to much success. Liang’s culinary beginnings were as a hibachi chef, before eventually transitioning to the world of ramen and ultimately landing a position as Executive Ramen Chef at Ajisen Ramen. The Italian Job will open its first location on Friday, November 1st in Legacy Hall, located at 7800 Windrose Ave. in Plano. The scratch-made pasta kitchen will focus on bringing old-world tradition to the modern, “fast-casual” market through artisanal, fresh pasta, made in-house daily using high quality ingredients.

Legacy Hall says auf wiedersehen to traditional Oktoberfest events with the second-annual Oktoberfeast, a signature, three-day beer and music festival held September 27-29, 2019. In celebration of all-things beer, brats and bands, all three floors of Legacy Hall and the Box Garden will be transformed into a biergarten atmosphere complete with yodeling, accordion players, oom-pah music and more. Chef Uno Immanivong’s Red Stix Asian Street Food will leave Legacy Hall on March 24 to expand into a freestanding, brick-and-mortar location near Southern Methodist University. In its place, Legacy Hall will add restaurant partner Beijing Brothers, a Texas-based Chinese restaurant created by Yang Sun and Willy Lu. The new restaurant will open in mid-April. Continue reading

President of The Food Hall Co. Jack Gibbons enlisted the expertise of well-known bar expert Sean Conner to conceptualize the menus for Idol Time Tiki Bar and the Hawaiian Shaved Ice Stand.
