Chef Uno Immanivong’s Red Stix Asian Street Food will leave Legacy Hall on March 24 to expand into a freestanding, brick-and-mortar location near Southern Methodist University. President of The Food Hall Co. Jack Gibbons enlisted the expertise of well-known bar expert Sean Conner to conceptualize the menus for Idol Time Tiki Bar and the Hawaiian Shaved Ice Stand. On Tuesday, Feb. 13, the three-story, European-style food hall, brewery and live music and entertainment venue will be hosting a Fat Tuesday party that’ll make you glad you didn’t make the trip to New Orleans this year.
In celebration of the holiday, special NOLA-inspired items will be offered at the food hall from open to close, including king cake donuts by Glazed Donut Works and beignets by Haute Sweets Patisserie. Legacy West’s grand opening celebrations are scheduled for Friday, June 2-Sunday, June 4, 2017. The celebration weekend will feature live entertainment from top national and local musical acts as well as food and drink tastings, special store discounts and a “sneak peek” first look inside Legacy Hall, the 55,000 square foot food hall. The massive European-style food hall now rising in Plano’s booming Legacy West development just announced another landmark addition: Unlawful Assembly Brewing Co.

We have some new information on the Legacy Hall project that is underway and is expected to open late summer. Although slated for August or September, word is now that construction is moving swiftly and they are currently ahead of schedule.
