KĀI Opens Today in Legacy West

Plano’s booming Legacy West development will soon be home to one of the most highly anticipated new dining destinations in all of North Texas: KĀI, an original Japanese-themed concept from the legendary Lombardi family.

The family-run restaurant company recently began construction on its first KĀI location at 7301 Windrose Ave. in Plano, in anticipation of a late summer grand opening. This is the third Lombardi Family Concepts restaurant to open in Legacy West – the most of any restaurant group in the development. Taverna opened in November 2017, and Toulouse opened March 2018. Café des Artistes Slated To Open In One Arts Plaza

I didn’t want to jump on the feeding frenzy at One Arts Plaza, but I just got a press release earlier this afternoon I thought I would share. CraveDFW normally steers clear of stories that are buzzing around the net and more often than not try to generate our content from scratch.

Cibus To Shutter and Taverna To Relocate

In a happy press release that discusses how wonderful life is to be a Lombardi, and honestly I am sure it doesn’t suck, Alberto Lombardi announced that he will be closing Cibus in NorthPark. Champagne Bar ’31’ Opens Tonight In Highland Park Village

Tonight the Lombardi family opens their latest venture, 31. The casually sophisticated bar will feature champagnes, cocktails and light dining created by the staff of Bistro 31. The Lombardi’s are aiming for a historic villa vibe that will harken back to 1931 when the Village was first built.

31 features luxurious but intimate spaces including a champagne bar, terrace villa, and outdoor patio that link the two interior spaces. Bistro tables spill out from the terrace villa to the patio and continue down to surround the Italian-tiled fountain below.    Continue reading
