The Hospitality Sweet Second Location To Open March 2016

The Hospitality Sweet, located inside the historic Post Office and Federal Building in Downtown Dallas, today announces that its second location is planned to open March 2016 inside Preston Center at 6135 Luther Lane in Dallas, Texas.

For owner, Meghan Adams, The Hospitality Sweet has been a labor of love since first envisioning the sweets-inspired business alongside her sister, Kristen, and their mother, Barbara. “Growing-up my sister and I developed a love of baking through our grandmother, Rose,” said Adams. “As a child we spent so many wonderful times in her kitchen and my love for baking grew quickly. To be doing what we love every day is a dream and to be opening a new, larger than ever location is incredible.”   Continue reading

A Visit To Nick And Sam’s Grill

Looking for a quick bite this weekend I found myself in Nick and Sam’s Grill on Preston. I am a huge fan of the Nick and Sam’s Steak House on Maple, but in the past had found the Grill a bit lacking. Chef Scott Romano was brought in recently to spruce up the brand a bit, and that he has done.

Along with his crew of executive chefs Romano has elevated the Grill menus to something pretty special. I am still not a fan of the flatbread found on the Uptown menu as it is more a fat pizza than what you might traditionally call flatbread. But that being said, what I found on Preston this past weekend was endearing.   Continue reading

John Tuma, Hook, Line and Sinker founder has been pleasing seafood lovers for 17 years.  His original location, still on Lemmon Ave, has locals coming back time and time again.  John has paired up with Markus Pineyro of Urban Taco and created the Del Sur Restaurant Group.    Continue reading
