Fort Worth’s Four Day Weekend Improv to Move

Fort Worth’s beloved improv troupe, Four Day Weekend, is relocating to a new venue.

The group is set to move to Stage West Theatre, located at 821 W. Vickery Blvd. in the Near Southside.

This transition comes shortly after the troupe announced it would be leaving its long-time home at Sundance Square, following the decision not to renew its lease at 312 Houston Street, where they had performed since 1997.

Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille Relocates to New Park District Location

Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille will soon make its move down the street into the Park District development at 2100 Olive Street.

Perry’s Uptown on McKinney will celebrate its final dinner service on Saturday, March 21st. Then, it will reopen its doors to the public in Park District with dinner beginning at 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 26th. The new Perry’s Park District will occupy the two-story space below the Residences at Park District at the corner of Woodall Rodgers Freeway and Olive Street, with expansive views of Klyde Warren Park and Downtown Dallas. Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House Relocating to Uptown Dallas’ Epicenter in 2016

Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group announced today it will open its fourth Del Frisco’s Grille in North Texas at The Shops at Legacy in Plano, Texas, in summer 2015. The company also announced it will relocate its Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House from North Dallas to McKinney & Olive in Dallas’ Uptown, as part of the luxury, 20-story, 530,000-square-foot office and retail tower designed by famed architect Cesar Pelli, next to The Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Residences, in 2016.

“Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House is the perfect fit for McKinney & Olive because it has a stellar reputation, amazing service and terrific food,” said John Zogg, managing director for Crescent Real Estate Equities, LLC. “This flagship restaurant – featuring a two-story design with spacious patios and huge glass windows overlooking the plaza – will be in keeping with Uptown’s energetic, street-friendly vibe.”    Continue reading
