Ruth’s Chris is partnering with Stags’ Leap Winery, known for growing some of Northern California’s best red wine grapes, to provide guests with an opportunity to experience a variety of Stags’ Leap wines accompanied with an exceptional menu. Ruth’s Chris Now Open In Uptown Dallas With An Amazing Happy Hour

Ruth’s Chris Steak House had its grand opening of its Uptown location yesterday beginning with a Sizzle, Swizzle and Swirl Happy Hour at 4:30pm, then opened for Dinner Service at 5pm. The restaurant is located at 1900 Cedar Springs on the ground floor of the Miro luxury residential high-rise.

Known for signature Prime Steaks served sizzling on 500° plates (so they stay warm through the very last bite), fresh salads, sides, and daily created-from-scratch desserts, Ruth’s Chris will bring extra sizzle to Uptown Dallas with new menu selections. New items such as the crab stack appetizer, colossal seafood tower, roasted Brussels sprouts, lobster mac ‘n’ cheese and signature cuts of beef like the impressive 40 ounce Tomahawk Ribeye and the bone-in New York Strip are expected to be some of the menu’s most popular highlights. Regional Chef, Tony Gale, has been selected as General Manager of the new Ruth’s Chris location scheduled to open this fall at 1900 Cedar Springs Road(at Harwood)  in the bustling Uptown District of Dallas.

Tony’s career with Ruth’s Chris began 16 years ago in his home town of New Orleans working as Sous Chef for Ruth’s Chris Founder, Ruth Fertel, at the original flagship location on North Broad Street. His enthusiasm and dedication led him to become the Executive Chef in New Orleans and Dallas and most recently as corporate regional chef overseeing the Central United States.   Continue reading

Ruth’s Chris Tours Napa With Special Dinner

Julie Miller, Wine Education Manager of Treasury Wine Estates delighted us with her knowledge of her portfolio including Beringer, St Clement, Etude, and Stag’s Leap at a recent wine dinner at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Dallas. She greeted each of her guests with a smile. Her approach to the room was also comprised of interesting facts and of eye contact. While soaking in information, you really lose sight of her physically as she paints a picture worth more than a thousand words.

In a tour of the Napa Region via the sound of her voice, with intrinsic detail on the history of estates built, to fungus on dessert grapes, allowed for a virtual visual only a creative mind could absorb and appreciate. Ruth’s Chris and Julie Miller joined forces for a Tasting Dinner paired to perfection. The ambiance of Ruth’s Chris, combined with the efforts of Executive Chef, Thomas Holt explaining the prep for each course, gave way to a seamless setting. Beautiful people meeting for the first time, left with embrace and statements of “here is my number let’s get together soon.” This could only take place if the mood was properly established.      Continue reading
