Ruth’s Chris Steak House Celebrates 50 Years of Handcrafted Cocktails Aug 20th

Continuing its 50th Anniversary dinner series, Ruth’s Chris Steak House will host a vintage inspired “1965 Cocktail Dinner Party” on August 20 at 99 locations across the nation. Founded in 1965 in New Orleans, the birthplace of the American Cocktail, Ruth’s Chris pays tribute to its heritage and celebrates 50 years of Sizzling Steaks and Handcrafted Cocktails at this unique pairing dinner.  Guests will enjoy a delicious chef-created, five-course menu paired with our handcrafted vintage cocktails prepared with a modern twist and premium fresh ingredients.

The featured “1965 Cocktail Dinner Party” menu includes:

First Course – Fresh Kabocha Squash & Garbanzo Bean Salad paired with The Gold Standard featuring Prosecco, Bulleit Bourbon, Cointreau and House Made Cardamom Syrup

Second Course – Seared Jumbo Sea Scallops with Soy-Orange Glaze, Red Lentils and Shaved Fennel paired with Strawberry Basil Gimlet featuring Ketel One Oranje Vodka, Fresh Lime Juice, Strawberry and Fresh Basil

Third Course – Grilled Ginger Shrimp with Maple Glazed Bacon and Pickled Sweet and Hot Peppers paired with Royal Street Gin & Tonic featuring Tanqueray, Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur, Fresh Rosemary and a Splash of Tonic

Fourth Course – Filet Mignon, Served Sizzling with Cabernet Sauvignon, Sherry and Port Onion Reduction paired with Port of Manhattan featuring Bulleit 10 Year, Fonseca Bin 27 Reserve Ruby Port and Fresh Blackberries Accompaniments include: Garlic Sautéed Broccolini and Ruth’s Garlic Mashed Potatoes
