Sisu Uptown Celebrates One Year Anniversary

Sisu Uptown turns one this week and they are celebrating in high fashion with their freshly redesigned Supper Club. The party is Friday, September 20th and Saturday, September 21st, and the Supper Club theme is “Pizza Meets Prosecco”. There is certainly a party when those two items meet.

In addition to an incredible menu and libations, Sisu boasts one of the finest pools and line-up of cabanas in the Dallas party scene. The historic building has been completely renovated with warm, soft-modern design and cleverly dressed with sleek antiquities from around the world. The back patio area is accompanied by a lavish saltwater pool surrounded by palm trees. If you choose to enter through the antique hand carved door, imported from Thailand, on the side of the restaurant it is easy to question if you are in Dallas or Miami. The staff around the chilled pool deck always make you feel like you are a VIP, while still maintaining a friendly and approachable resort attitude.   Continue reading

First Look: Sisu Uptown Resort

Sisu Uptown Resort opens its doors officially today and we took a peek yesterday afternoon. The new restaurant plays host to a fantastic bar with a great patio, but also features a members-only pool that plays into the resort theme. Owned and managed by Dan Bui (formerly of Ghost Bar) and a team of investors, Sisu is definitely not your average restaurant.  Continue reading
