Taste Addison’s Saturday musical lineup will have you feeling like you’re at an early-2000s pop-punk music festival – in the best way possible. The Best-in-DFW festival, which dates back to 1993, will kick off at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 3, with a performance by DFW-based act Van Full of Nuns before launching into the first of four nationally known bands.
Since its inception in 1993, Taste Addison has earned a reputation for curating the most exciting collection of musical entertainment and pairing it with a menu of culinary treats that showcases the city’s celebrated restaurant history. When the festival returns June 4-5, 2021, it will again present an array of musical legends sure to please everyone. Tickets for the festival go on sale at 10 a.m. May 3.
On Friday night, Taste Addison celebrates its opening night with a party on the Main Stage. The high-energy David Whiteman Band kicks off the festival covering a wide range of genres. Then, Emerald City Band revels in danceable Top 40 covers from the ’80s, ’90s, ’00s and today. Finally, rapper-singer Flo Rida closes out the evening with fun party hits like “Low,” “Right Round” and “Good Feeling.”
A North Texas legend since 1993, Taste Addison dishes out the best food and flavor with a healthy side of jam. The region’s original food festival continues to deliver Addison’s favorite eateries, national music artists, and activities for the whole family with a full menu of fun. Due to the pandemic, the 2020 festival did not happen, but will return in 2021 to Addison Circle Park on Friday, June 4 and Saturday, June 5.
This year promises a can’t-miss celebration of food and music. With more restaurants per capita than any city in the US, Addison is known for food. Taste Addison guests can sample fare from a wide array of classic Addison dining destinations as well as notable newcomers. In addition to meal-sized munchies, each restaurant will sell one or more Taste Bites – smaller portions of favorites available for $3 or less per item.

A celebration of food, music, and fun, Taste Addison (May 19 – 21) dishes out the best food and flavor with a healthy side of jam. This year, guests will enjoy an array of activities, many of which are included with their admission ticket, such as the Wine Garden, Craft Beer Hall, cooking demos from Addison chefs and the Family Fun Lawn, featuring games, inflatables and face painting, in addition to all the live entertainment you can pack into three days.
