As far as Dallas-area bars are concerned The Londoner is a decided staple, and with a brand new location on the Lower Greenville strip its legacy is cemented. This past Saturday night the bar was filled with the sound of Beatles cover band A Hard Day’s Night and cheers from spectators watching sports on big screen T.V.’s scattered about the place. The Londoner Pub, a traditional British pub with several locations around the Metroplex, will celebrate its new home on Greenville Avenue with a launch party Saturday, February 23. Themed a “British Invasion” the event will embrace and share all things British. Partygoers will enjoy live music by A Hard Night’s Day – a Beatle’s tribute band; English signature cocktails, craft English beer, and pub fare.
The Londoner Pub has been the go-to venue for soccer matches; craft beer and English fare since Barry Tate opened his first Dallas pub in 1990. Mr. Tate’s newest location in Dallas has settled in the historic Greenville Bar and Grill location originally established in 1933. Continue reading

Metroplex Mutts, an animal rescue organization, is hosting a Summer “Pawty” happy hour fundraiser at The Londoner, Tuesday, June 5th from 6:00-8:00 PM. The event will commemorate the organization’s third anniversary. The Londoner is located at 2909 Thomas Avenue in Dallas. The cover charge for this event is $10.
