Chef Joshua Harmon, recently returned from a NYC culinary expedition that included a stint in the kitchen at Le Cirque, has opened the Milk & Honey Co. in a vintage farmhouse in Old Town Keller.
His take on Southern comfort cuisine juxtaposes contemporary sophistication with old-fashioned coziness in recipes remembered from a Texas & Tennessee childhood.
Add to this tunes from The Great American Songbook, performed by jazz singer Judy Chamberlain, a native New Yorker who has been known to improvise the entire score of Porgy & Bess on request, and one suspects that everything old really is new again.
Jazz @ the Milk & Honey Co. 129 Olive Street, Keller Saturday, March 3, 7:00 p.m. 817 431-8484
