The Lewisville outpost for the Dallas Tortilla and Tamale Factory has shuttered, leaving the Oak Cliff location still open.
The owners sent a message out that stated, “There was a “small” matter of a manufacturing license that the corporate decision makers did not renew. This adversely affected the factory’s wholesale capabilities. The State of Texas does not recognize the Lewisville location as part of the family’s business.”
Sad for those living north of Dallas and need a hot tamale fix.
