This weekend sets the date for one of the largest arts festivals in Dallas. Deep Ellum’s Art Festival host over 200 artist and shows one of a kind items which help promote handcrafted artifacts. Shutting down the majority of Main Street, this event is a great way to enjoy the beautiful weekend weather, meet artist, and maybe grab a bite to eat!
Some artist which you need to make sure you don’t miss are Michael McPheeters with the Handle with Care project. He will be along the side of the Davies Brothers and “3 in 1 artist”: Jarrod, Issac, and Soner. Sponsored by Liquid Lounge, these set of artist will help promote awareness for youth causes and display the latest mural in Deep Ellum. Since this night club will be sponsoring this event, they have set up booths with live paintings, new merchandise, and live DJ’s.
Chris Gonzales and Ely Sellers will be representing the 3-D sculptures for this event. 3D art is always a great way to break away from the paintings and prints that most of the artist specialize in. Sponsored by Agora Entertainment these artist will surely shine!

Well this year, Zen Bakery, located at 2805 Main Street has hosted a spot for Erica Guajardo Illustrations to display her artwork. Featuring small items which range in price from $45 and under, there will surely be something for everyone to enjoy! Please come out and support you local artist. Open to the public for free this event host hours of Friday 5pm-11pm, Saturday 11am-11pm, and Sunday 11am-8pm.
