The Greek at One Arts Plaza hosted its final dinner service on the evening of March 14th. A restaurant concept sharing the same amazing flavors as Ziziki’s Restaurants, The Greek shared an adventuresome menu and edgier décor with patrons dining at One Arts Plaza.
“We are sorry to see The Greek go. What a wonderful restaurant and great team,” said Lucy Burns, Partner, Billingsley Company. “We are however, looking forward to announcing a few new exciting concepts. Some are new to Dallas and others new concepts from established local operators. Stay tuned,” said Burns.
The restaurant suffered the same fate of those before it, such as Dali Wine Bar and The Commissary. Perhaps once Stephan Pyles moves his eponymous restaurant across the street more focus will be drawn to this little section of the Arts District. Then there is that whole trolley thing that will be installed in the area.
Sounds to me like the owners are fishing for a new sucker. Maybe even a fish place this time. How’s this for a restaurant name: Sucker Fish. Beats So & So’s.
