The many insane food competitions are heating up for the 4th of July. Curly’s Custard in Fort Worth is having their 4th Annual Hotdog Eating Competition once again. This year’s event will consist of a youth and adult contest. Among the competitions taking place, there will be a peach custard sampling taking place at the event as well.

The competition begins at 11am on July 4th, with the youth contest taking place first with two hot dogs in the fastest time. The adult competition commences immediately afterwards with four hot dogs, also timed for the fastest consumed.  The champion of the youth competition will win a $100 Curly’s gift certificate; and the grand winner of the adult competition will win four Ranger’s tickets.

Chris Sisco, who has won the competition for the last 3 years, will be defending his title once again this year. Is there anyone in Dallas-Fort Worth that can take this beast of an eater? Surely there is someone that can consume 4 hot dogs in a rapid manner. Come out to Curly’s and watch eaters go head to head with hot dogs, all while eating some custard.
