Apheleia Restaurant Group and Jet Tila, chef-partner of Pakpao, are excited to announce the opening of a second location of Pakpao in Preston Hollow, a neighborhood in north Dallas.

The restaurant, which will seat about 80 patrons, will be located in Preston Hollow Village, a 42-acre mixed-use development planned for the northwest corner of Walnut Hill & 75. The project will include over 100,000 square feet of retail & restaurants, 60,000 square feet of office space, 100 town homes, and 1,100 multi-family residences. A Trader Joe’s, Blue Sushi Restaurant + Bar, and Modmarket are a few of the planned retail and restaurant spaces in Phase I, along with Pakpao.

The Preston Hollow Pakpao will have a similar design to the original location in the Dallas Design District, with the restaurant’s bright colors and modern Thai influences, but with a larger bar area. The menu will be largely the same as the Design District Pakpao’s, but with a few small differences, says Tila.

“Each Pakpao will have some unique twists of its own,” he says.

There are plans for a third Pakpao to open in Plano, Texas in 2015 as well, responding to the demand for progressive and innovative dining concepts in the area.

“Our Plano location is in close proximity to a densely populated residential area, a large hospital, and a very busy movie theater, and it is conveniently located off a major artery – the Dallas North Tollway,” said Richard Ellman. “We hope to open the Plano location later in 2015… more details to come.”
