The Texas Chefs Association – Dallas Chapter (TCA) will host the Chili Confrontation 2014 on Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 11 am to 3 pm.  The Confrontation will take place at Four Corners Brewing Company located at 423 Singleton Blvd., Dallas in Trinity Groves.  Professional and non-professional teams will compete for cash prizes and a People’s Choice Award. There will be entertainment and additional food provided by the TCA and beverage booths.

The Chili Confrontation is being held in conjunction with North Texas Beer Week (NTBW).  NTBW is a 10 day celebration showcasing the people, places, and brews that make up the region’s booming craft beer scene with events overseen by local business owners and enthusiasts who seek to support the growth of craft beer across North Texas.

Admission is free and open to the public. Sampling of the competitor’s chili will be available to the public for $20, which includes 6 chili tastings and one People’s Choice voting ticket. Four Corners Brewing Company will have $4 pints of craft beer with $1.00 per pint benefiting the Texas Chefs Association.
