We have a few ideas for things to do for your special Valentine this year, plus some restaurant notions. Best dial in for those reservations before all the good seats re taken.

Valentine’s Pop-Up

Stop by the Bark Chocolate / Sucre Sucré by Lucia pop-up event in East Dallas (3001 Gaston Ave.) on February 13th to pick up some unique chocolate bark and French Macarons. The pop-up runs from 11:00 am-8:00 pm.

Celebrating Love and Love of Art – Giddens Gallery of Fine Art in Grapevine
Feb. 7, 2015
6 – 9 p.m.
Create a special memory with your loved one by choosing original works of art from more than 20 resident artists. Complimentary wine and lots of chocolate will be provided along with multiple chances to win door prizes. 

GeO-Deck at Reunion Tower
Feb. 13 – 14, 2015
Toast your love from over 500 feet in the Dallas skyline. Package options include GeO-Deck admission, complimentary champagne, chocolate package prepared by Wolfgang Puck Catering and a carriage ride.

Valentine’s Day at the DMA

Partner up this Valentine’s Day with an artful dinner at the DMA. Dinner reservations feature a four-course meal prepared by DMA’s award-winning Executive Chef Craig James. Begin your Valentine’s evening enjoying exclusive access to the DMA’s co-organized new exhibition Between Action and the Unknown: The Art of Kazuo Shiraga and Sadamasa Motonaga. Galleria Dallas’ Showtime Saturdays Presents: Valentine Spectacular

Four-course Couples BYOB Valentine’s Day Dinner with ReMARKable Affairs Catering

This Valentine’s, instead of having dinner, have an experience! Presented by ReMARKable Affairs Catering, this event will feature Chef Mark and the lovely and talented Leslie Robbins in their kitchen studio in north Dallas for their cooking demo and four-course meal. Adjacent Conversation at the Mokah Art Gallery

Valentine’s Day Tasting Menu at FIVE SIXTY by Wolfgang Puck
Feb. 13 – 15, 2015
Enjoy a romantic dinner while taking in breathtaking panoramic views of the Dallas skyline at Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck. On Valentine’s Day and throughout the weekend, Executive Chef Patton Robertson will offer a six-course tasting menu featuring the restaurant’s signature Asian-inspired cuisine. Dallas Chop House
Valentine’s Day dinner menu features a three-course meal and option wine pairings. Selections include lobster bisque and steak tartare as starters, striped bass and roasted quail for entrée, and bread pudding and lavender-vanilla bean crème brulee for dessert. The menu also features Cupid’s Crush, a vodka, raspberry and lemon juice cocktail. Feb. 13-14. $70 plus $25 for wine. 214-736-7300.

Dallas Fish Market

Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House
Special Valentine’s Day menu includes oysters, shrimp remoulade, tuna tartare, bone-in filet, rib-eye, lamb, salmon and sesame tuna. 972-490-9000

El Fenix
Celebrate “amor” with your loved ones at El Fenix. Guests can enjoy Dallas’ original Tex-Mex restaurant and complimentary heart-shaped sopapillas with our purchase of any entrée. Promotion runs Thursday, Feb. 12 through Sunday, Feb. 14.

Lazaranda

Lazaranda will offer a special three-course Valentine’s Day dinner February 13-15, 2015. For $37.95, treat your loved one with delightful Mexican dishes from Chef Antonio Marquez that are sure to please. Reservations are encouraged, please call 972-866-8900.

TJ’s Seafood Market

Fearing’s
Fixed-price menu in addition to regular menu includes lobster with fettuccine, strip loin steak, and a duo dessert of buttermilk-passionfruit cupcake and double chocolate strawberry parfait. Feb. 13-15 from 6 pm. $100. 214-922-4848.

Perry’s Steakhouse
Three-course menu features lobster bisque, pork chop, filet mignon, ahi tuna and the milk-chocolate peanut-butter candy bar. Feb. 13-14. $60 before 5:30 pm, $75 6 pm or later.

The Ranch at Las Colinas
Multicourse menu includes a shared appetizer for two, gulf shrimp or lobster bisque as first course, and choice of striped bass or smoked filet as an entrée. Share a dark chocolate tart with cream fraiche and raspberry for dessert. 972-506-7262.

Henry’s Majestic
