The saying is “go big or go home”. The World Record for “largest group sake bomb” is 213. And, as we all know, records are made to be broken. So on April 8 (11 to 2pm), that’s exactly what Sushi Marquee will attempt to do.
On the big day, the thirsty public is invited out to the Star’s fun-loving Japanese restaurant to take part in making World Record history. Sushi Marquee is hoping to achieve 300 sake bombs, which means they need 300 people (21 and over, of course) to accomplish the goal. Simply RSVP on the Facebook page to let them know you’re coming, then head over to Sushi Marquee. That’s where all participants will receive the famous beer-and-sake combo, and join together to attempt this ambitious feat.
In addition to a sake bomb and general record-breaking revelry, participants will enjoy music courtesy of a Video DJ and can even win prizes. It’s going to be a very fun day, and hopefully when it’s all over, there will be a new World Record champion in town.
