The Shops at Willow Bend is launching a free weekly outdoor summer movie series, offering family-friendly films alongside high-quality dining options.

Every Tuesday evening from June 4 through July 30, a different movie will be shown beginning at 8:30 p.m. in the open lawn space in The District. Moviegoers can bring blankets and lawn chairs as they enjoy popular movies such as Trolls, Spider Man, Coco and The Secret Life of Pets, among others.
“We have incredible dining options in The District to enjoy a meal before the movie,” said Amy Medford, marketing director at The Shops at Willow Bend.  “This is a great way to soak up the summer outdoors.”

The District features high-quality restaurants including several with James Beard-recognized chefs, such as Knife, which offers premium steakhouse cuisine; Mexican Bar Co., serving Mexican delicacies; and Whistle Britches, offering home-cooked southern food.
Movie theater-style snacks will also be available for purchase outside during the movies. Due to restaurant support of this event, coolers with outside food and beverages are not permitted.
