Texas Ale Project Announces Release Party to Launch Beer Collaboration with Legendary Band Pantera

The countdown is on! Popular Dallas craft brewery, Texas Ale Project, is excited to announce a beer release party in February, in collaboration with legendary Texas music icons, Pantera. Crushable with a clean finish and brewed with Cascade and Citra hops, Pantera Golden Ale (5.4% ABV) will be available at fine retailers across North Texas and Corpus Christi, as well as through Tavour craft beer delivery for direct-to-consumer shipping in the United States, starting March 1st, 2021. Additional Texas locations to follow.

Pantera Golden Ale will be the first beer to bear the Pantera name. “We love creating fine ales and enjoy all kinds of music. We’re very excited to unite these two passions together under our roof, this time in partnership with the almighty Pantera. I couldn’t be more pumped about this project,” says Brent Thompson, Founder and Brewmaster of Texas Ale Project.

This event is restricted to guests ages 21 and up, and no dogs.

DJ Souljah will be the DJ & Emcee for the day, hosting the event from 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm; this music-focused event will be an exciting and socially responsible gathering, filled with contests and giveaways, while practicing pandemic-conscious protocols.  Tables will be spaced for social distance and masks will be required of all guests. Giveaways will include CD’s from Pantera’s “Reinventing the Steel” album. Enjoy delicious food from Cane Rosso – including a custom Pantera pizza — while enjoying TAP’s flexible indoor and outdoor space (weather permitting).

Currently Dallas County food and beverage facilities are legally allowed to host events at 50% capacity, and the Pantera Golden Ale release party will be safely held at one-third of the brewery’s full capacity.

Pantera Golden Ale 6-packs and growler fills will also be available for to-go purchase, along with limited release Pantera/Texas Ale Project collaboration merchandise from the TAP room only – including a beer glass, t-shirt, and sticker.

Pantera started their incredible and sometimes over-the-top metal journey just outside of Dallas, delivering their jaw dropping, intense new sound that changed the path of metal. Pantera brought a ‘new level’ of excitement and inspiration to the metal genre. Their party reputation was a side of the band they were proud of. They were known to throw back a few beers. Reflective of the times during the band’s glory days in the 90’s and the lighter broad and approachable beers the band members would typically drink, the recipe for this collab screamed “golden ale”.
