Foxtrot Has Left the Building

Foxtrot has made the decision to close all of its locations in Dallas. According to a report from Eater Chicago, Outfox Hospitality, which recently merged Foxtrot with Dom’s Hospitality based in Chicago, will be filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. This means that all of Foxtrot’s stores in Texas, D.C., and Illinois are now closed.

The news of the closures was initially reported by the newsletter Snaxshot, which pointed out that Dom’s did not place its usual grocery order the previous week. It has been reported that Foxtrot employees were informed of the store closures during a conference call on Tuesday morning, with instructions not to discuss the matter with customers.

Eater Chicago also mentioned that the company has approximately 1,000 workers employed across multiple states. In February 2024, Outfox appointed a new CEO. Foxtrot had a total of four locations in Dallas, including the most recent one on Greenville Ave.

Other locations were situated on Knox-Henderson, in Uptown on Hillcrest, and also on McKinney.
