Thompson Hotel San Antionio Riverwalk Skyline Dining Series

Thompson San Antonio – Riverwalk invites you to an unforgettable culinary experience as part of the hotel’s new Skyline Dining Series. This event highlights the talents of San Antonio’s favorite chefs, coming together to create a truly unique dining affair. The inaugural event will take place at Thompson’s enchanting rooftop restaurant, The Moon’s Daughters, on Friday, October 24th at 6:30 PM. Guests will savor a specially curated four-course meal while supporting a meaningful cause.

Perched high above the River Walk, The Moon’s Daughters offers breathtaking panoramic views of the San Antonio skyline. The evening will feature a menu crafted by four renowned chefs, each celebrated for their distinctive culinary styles. Notably, 25% of the proceeds from this event will benefit Texas Wings, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting uninsured breast cancer patients across Central and South Texas.

Participating Chefs Include:

  • Chef David Arciniega: As the Executive Chef of Thompson San Antonio – Riverwalk, Chef David oversees the hotel’s culinary program, including its signature dining venues—The Moon’s Daughters, Landrace, and Cenote Pool Deck. With a rich background that includes serving as Taskforce Chef at Hyatt’s esteemed Hana Maui Resort and Executive Chef at Texas State University, Chef David brings a wealth of experience and passion for culinary innovation to the team.
  • Chef Tatu Herrera: Owner of Folklore’s Coffee House and Executive Chef at Spring Garden Restaurant, Chef Tatu is celebrated for his inventive dishes that seamlessly blend local and global flavors. He frequently shares his culinary insights on KSAT12’s cooking segment, showcasing his passion and expertise in every dish.
  • Chef Chris Carlson: With an impressive background in top-tier restaurants in Chicago and Texas, including Il Sogno, Maverick, and Allora, Chef Chris delivers refined techniques and bold flavors, ensuring each dish is a memorable experience.
  • Cecilia Barretto: A wine expert and founder of Wine Edutainment Events, Cecilia offers a playful yet knowledgeable approach to the world of wine. With a Master’s of Science in Wine Business from Burgundy, France, and nearing completion of her WSET Level 4 Diploma, Cecilia is dedicated to creating dynamic and engaging wine experiences.
