Two Local Legends, One Epic Bagel Sandwich

Get ready, Trophy Club—two of the town’s most beloved culinary names are teaming up for a limited-time mashup that’s set to redefine what a bagel sandwich can be.

Dan’s Bagels, the North Texas favorite known for it’s crave-worthy sourdough bagels, is partnering with The Original Roy Hutchins Barbeque, and we’ve raved about them for years. Together, they’re cooking up two bold, brisket-loaded creations that take bagels way beyond breakfast.

Here’s what’s on the menu—served exclusively on Dan’s signature jalapeño cheddar bagels:

The Texas Twist: Chopped brisket, melty pepper jack cheese, tangy pickled onions, and Boar’s Head dill pickles. It’s smoky, spicy, and seriously satisfying.

The Brisket Sunrise: A hearty breakfast-style stack with chopped brisket, crispy bacon, egg, cheese, and a golden hash brown. Inspired by Roy Hutchins’ iconic Texas Twinkie, this one’s a flavor bomb.

“We’re bringing together two Trophy Club originals to prove that small towns can bring big flavor,” said Dan Hilbert, founder of Dan’s Bagels, which is expanding soon to Fort Worth and Argyle.

“This is a fresh way to enjoy our slow-smoked brisket—something totally new for BBQ and bagel fans alike,” added Zack Hutchins, director of operations at The Original Roy Hutchins Barbeque.

This exclusive collaboration runs May 20–25 at Dan’s Bagels (301 Trophy Lake Drive). Swing by between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday—but don’t wait, because when it’s gone, it’s gone.
