SHEIN Saloon Shines at the State Fair of Texas: A Stylish Experience

by Annie Greenslade

Howdy! This year, SHEIN, the internationally renowned fashion brand, made a spectacular impression at the State Fair of Texas.  As one of the largest markets for SHEIN, Dallas was treated to a SHEIN Saloon Activation Booth that perfectly blended Texan fun and fashion.

The air-conditioned booth featured a myriad of engaging activities, including cornhole, embroidered bandanas, airbrush tattoos, and a free photo booth with printed selfies. Guests can enjoy refreshing popsicles and explore a clothing store that showcases SHEIN’s latest collections (including Cowgirl Chic). A purchase of over $29 earns you a free cowboy hat, yeehaw! The Activation Booth itself was not only stylish but also comfortable and highly popular, with plenty of Insta-worthy photo-ops. I should also mention it is right next to the booth for the best corn dogs in the world, Fletcher’s Corny Dogs.

Following the fair, I had the pleasure of dining at Haywire with the SHEIN team. The evening featured an exquisite culinary journey at Haywire (Uptown) with some of the menu items being tortilla soup, barbacoa sliders, quesadillas, mouthwatering pastrami, sumptuous garlic-stuffed filet with haricots verts and pommes purée, and redfish. The drink selection is equally impressive, featuring inventive margaritas and a wide array of spirits. Haywire is one of my favorite restaurants, specializing in made-from-scratch Texan food. Y’all, I always go back for their Smoked Fried Chicken!

Overall, Shein’s Activation Booth at the State Fair and the subsequent dining experience at Haywire were nothing short of spectacular. It was truly an honor to witness the fusion of fashion and Texan hospitality.
